Pascal Okechukwu, the Nigerian socialite popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, has been appointed as the Imo State Director of the City Boy Movement (CBM), a youth-driven support group advocating the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The announcement was made via the movement’s official Instagram page, where CBM described Chief Priest as a figure who embodies dedication, strategic leadership, and an unwavering commitment to the growth of the organisation.
According to the statement, his appointment is expected to strengthen grassroots mobilisation and enhance political engagement across Imo State in support of Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda.
“As the Imo State Director, he brings experience, influence, and a people-centred approach to mobilising support, strengthening party structures, and advancing the Renewed Hope Agenda,” the group stated.
CBM further expressed confidence that under his leadership, Imo State would remain positioned for inclusive development, effective leadership, and sustained political participation. The group emphasised unity and progress as key drivers of its mission ahead of future political activities.
Chief Priest, widely recognised for his strong social media presence and influence within Nigeria’s entertainment and nightlife circles, is expected to leverage his popularity to attract more young people to the movement.
His appointment comes shortly after Seyi Tinubu, son of President Tinubu, presented Nigerian businessman Obi Cubana with a letter of appointment as the South-East Director of the City Boy Movement, signalling the group’s continued expansion and consolidation of support structures across the region.
