Lagos Father Seeks Justice Over Alleged Immunisation-Linked Death of Nine-Month-Old Twin Sons

A Lagos-based father, Samuel Alozie, is demanding justice following the alleged death of his nine-month-old identical twin sons, Testimony and Timothy, barely 24 hours after they received routine immunisation at a primary health care centre in Lagos.

The tragic incident, which reportedly occurred on Christmas Day, December 25, 2025, has triggered widespread public outrage after Alozie shared a heartbreaking video on TikTok showing the lifeless bodies of the twins wrapped in body bags.

According to Alozie, the babies became unusually weak and lethargic shortly after receiving their injections at the health facility. He said he strictly followed medical instructions given by the attending nurse, including administering paracetamol, but their condition failed to improve.

“They were strong and sound. I took them for immunisation not because they were sick, but because it was the right thing to do,” Alozie said.

“They were very weak after the injection. We gave them paracetamol as instructed, but nothing changed. By the next morning, both of them were gone,” he added.

The grieving father maintained that the twins had no underlying medical conditions prior to the immunisation and expressed suspicion over the circumstances surrounding their deaths.

Alozie also dismissed claims reportedly made by the primary health care centre suggesting that the deaths were caused by food-related bacterial infection, insisting that the babies were exclusively healthy before the visit.

Raising concerns over the credibility of the ongoing investigation, he expressed fear that the outcome could be compromised, as the health facility involved is government-owned.

“I cannot afford to pursue justice alone, and I am also scared I may not get justice. I need justice for them,” he appealed, calling for legal and public support.

As of the time of filing this report, the Lagos State Ministry of Health and the Lagos State Primary Health Care Board have yet to issue an official statement on the incident or release the autopsy findings.

The incident has continued to generate intense reactions online, with many Nigerians calling for a transparent investigation and accountability from the relevant authorities.
